Junk Removal in Nashua, NH — MV Dumpster Rental Nashua

Old furniture, a garage full of things that never got sorted, appliances nobody uses anymore — junk piles up differently than a renovation, but it still needs somewhere to go. MV Dumpster Rental Nashua has been hauling that kind of load across Nashua and the surrounding towns since 2018, sized to whatever’s actually stacked up.

Instead of a full-service crew hauling items out piece by piece, we drop a container and you load on your own schedule — a straightforward way to clear a garage, basement, or whole property at your own pace. Call (603) 704-3257 and describe what’s coming out and we’ll size it right.

What we handle on junk removal jobs

  • 10, 15, and 20 yard sizes for most junk removal jobs
  • Handles furniture, appliances, and general household junk
  • Load on your own schedule instead of a rushed same-day haul
  • No permit needed for placement entirely on private property
  • Clear guidance on what belongs in the container and what doesn’t
  • Serving Nashua and 13 surrounding towns across Hillsborough and Rockingham counties, NH, and northern Middlesex County, MA
  • A crew that answers the phone and helps you size the job

Sizing a Junk Removal Job

A 10 yard container covers a single room, a small garage clear-out, or a handful of bulky items. A 15 yard handles a full garage or basement, or junk spread across a couple of rooms. A 20 yard is the right call for a whole-property clear-out or a job where furniture, appliances, and general junk are all coming out together. Not sure which fits? Call (603) 704-3257 and describe what’s on the property.

What Can — and Can’t — Go In

Furniture, general household junk, and most bulky items are all fair game in a junk removal container. A few things need separate handling. New Hampshire’s NHDES bars TVs, computer monitors, any screen over 4 inches diagonal, and computer CPUs from ordinary landfill or incinerator disposal — old electronics that turn up in almost every garage and basement clean-out. A newer NHDES rule, effective July 1, 2025, bans rechargeable lithium-ion batteries — the kind inside old laptops, cordless tools, and small electronics — from the trash entirely, because a punctured or crushed battery pack is a genuine fire risk in a collection truck. Route both categories through a certified recycler, Call2Recycle, a participating retailer, or a local transfer station instead of the dumpster. Paint, fuel, motor oil, and other chemicals are standard prohibited items as well. More detail is in our guide on what can go in a dumpster in New Hampshire.

Permits and Placement

Most junk removal containers sit in the driveway or on a side lot, and that needs no permit anywhere in our service area. If a property genuinely requires street placement, that’s a Board of Public Works matter inside Nashua city limits under City Code Ch. 285; call them directly to confirm requirements before delivery. In our other New Hampshire towns, that town’s own select board or public works department handles it instead, since Hillsborough and Rockingham counties have no permitting authority. In our Massachusetts towns — Tyngsborough, Dunstable, and Pepperell — the town runs its own process the same way. Call us and we’ll help you confirm what applies before delivery.

FAQs

Junk Removal questions, answered

What size do I need to clear out a garage?

Most full garage or basement clear-outs fit a 15 yard container. A single room or a handful of bulky items usually fits a 10 yard.

Can appliances go in a junk removal dumpster?

Generally yes for standard household junk. Call and describe what you’re getting rid of and we’ll flag anything that needs separate handling.

Can old TVs, monitors, or laptop batteries go in the container?

No. New Hampshire bans TVs, monitors, screens over 4 inches, and CPUs from landfill disposal outright, and a July 1, 2025 rule bans rechargeable lithium-ion batteries from the trash statewide. Route those to a certified recycler, Call2Recycle, or a participating retailer.

Do I need a permit for a junk removal dumpster in my driveway?

No. Placement entirely on private property needs no permit anywhere in our service area.

How long can I keep the container to load it?

We work around your schedule rather than forcing a fixed rental window. Tell us roughly how long you’ll need when you book.

Do you offer same-day junk removal dumpsters?

Often, yes, if you call early in the day and a truck is free on your route — see our same-day dumpster rental page for details.
